I'm not. I love it and DGAF if him or lv think that is saying too much.

Now if spike says something my feelings might get hurt

Liked this quite a bit. The story was good - very Vonnegut. Villeneuve makes some smart storytelling choices here. Sound design and score were beautiful.

I really want to see this again. A great friend of mine was going to see and asked me how I felt about it. I didn't want to over-hype it for him. Because I have a bit of a problem with that kind of stuff (you may have noticed). So, I told him that I liked it but reminded him of all the movies we'd both seen this year that I loved and he hated (Ghostbusters, The Neon Demon, etc).

And it totally worked! He goddamn loved the move and I just couldn't be happier. He and his lady friend both cried and said it was one of the best films of the year and almost stayed in the theater to watch it again. :heartbeat:

Yeah, I got a lot of Vonnegut. I think I called it a Vonnegut thriller

It was well made, but I think they ruined it with
Spoiler: show
the whole time thing. It made it too typical. I feel like I've seen that time stuff a million times.
Left disappointed. But the four people I went with liked it.

I think I will see this Sunday after hearing so many good things. All my Christmas stuff is tomorrow so the actual day is wide open.

I expected so much more though...the cinematography was nice, the acting was ok...and the message too..but i didnt loved it.
Its kinda funny hollywood still thinks that the US wouldnt be the first one to blow that thing. Oh and they are the ones who start the communication with the world. Yeah, thats the sience fiction not the aliens right?
