La La Land is glorious. Everything I'd hoped and more. Just beautiful and competent and expert filmmaking.

But yeah, LV and Ruddo... you guys will definitely hate it. For different reasons... but still. Your instincts are right. Stay away.

For me, though, this was superb.

The expendables 3.

Mel gibson is so good. Ir was really nice to see him with sly and Ford.
Still can they get a good filmmaker for the 4th one? Maybe sly can direct it.

I still like watching A Christmas Story, Elf, and so on once per year. I can watch Home Alone whenever; we watched it last night and we were all about how great the music is (also we watches for Elvis this time). I watched Rudolph like 6 times this week because the baby sort-of likes it.

The Game.

i think it was 20 years ago that i saw this one...right when it came out. I still feel the last act is the weakest one, but i love Douglas performance.
A minor movie, but a good one. I miss this type of movies.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. I expected something a little fluffier. Which, to your point, is not to say that this is hard hitting. But it was moreso than I thought it would be.

I was surprised as hell when the one group was annihilated by the drone strike. Like, holy shit that just happened.

I wasn't surprised by that. I haven't found MR to be all that 'attractive' in the new Hollywood sense. Suicide Squad cemented that with those hot pants...she got no ass, mang.

One of my favorite conversations is when men discuss whether or not a famous woman has an ass

I like it when creeps think the problem with that conversation is related to prudishness

I like it when prudes try to hide their prudishness because human asses make them uncomfortable.

Btw, Fey doesn't advertise it as much, but she does have some junk in the trunk. She's much prettier imo.

The BFG is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I don't even want to finish it.
