I like Colin Ferrell. And he's really good in this, too.

Should I watch this in the cinema? I'm a huge Potter fan, but I also only ever watch 2-3 movies in the cinema each year, and Rogue One's already on the list.

The visuals are wonderful. It's a rich visual experience. So, yeah, it would be a good one to see in the cinema. But it's probably not necessary, if you don't like going very often.

Finally got around to seeing this. I would have been there opening night if I had known I'd love it. What a fun movie! That actress reminds me so much of Maura Tierney, though, that it was almost distracting.

How does this compare to the Potter movies? Similar tone? Lighter? The trailers do nothing for me but I'm sure it will look nice in 4K so I'm thinking about picking it up when it comes out.

Much lighter, I think. It will look stunning in 4K. The special effects are gorgeous, and this movie seemed much more expensive than any of the Potter movies. The best part, though, is that the 4 "good guys" are all perfectly cast. I know you're a film buff and probably have an opinion about Yates, but I think he's great. i hope he does this entire series.

I do like Yates, now that you mention it. He made the best Potter movie, and I liked his Tarzan movie too. Also I love Colin Farrell.

Yeah, I'll probably buy this.
