Some ppl saying it ten years before a new hope. I think they'll tie it up to R1 and end it right before it. Alden is almost same age as Harrison ford in a new hope

i don't think they'll tie this in. We'll get Lando, Chewie, maybe events like the kessel run or getting the falcon (or both), working for jabba, events we know about. But it's different actors. they will minimize the attention drawn to that.

It's canon that han doesn't like droids.

Yeah, I fully expect this to give cutesy references to things in ANH, maybe even the cantina on Mos Eisley specifically, but not not do what R1 did and back into ANH.
