To The Wonder wasn't great but it was light years better than The Thin Red Line. I didn't see Brave New World either. But I heard good things.
What in the holy everloving fuck
I hate The Thin Red Line probably more than any other major motion picture I've ever seen. Even something as minor and low budget as Manos: The Hands of Fate made me laugh, even if it wasn't supposed to. (Manos is worse than The Thin Red Line, by the way). I fucking HATE The Thin Red Line.
You have wounded me, good sir: You made me agree with LV.

I watched it for a film studies class and it was the first time I didn't sit and wonder, "so when is class over?" I was even going to ditch that one and ended up writing a final paper on it for the class. That one and Donnie Darko, lol.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

You'll probably appreciate Paul Schrader's reaction:

Yeah I think he is just going to advise and let the Deadpool guy do the actual movie.

Better that than Sonic the Hedgehog, though I see he's still producing that. Sigh.

Has there ever been a bigger risk than the Avatar sequels? Four more movies and a major Disney Park attraction based on a 10 year old movie no one ever talks about.
