Yeah, I can't think of anyone who would waste 65mm more completely than Trevorrow.

I'd say design and creature shop are underway as a sideline but doubtful heads of department like DP would be even picked yet though theres probably a list for each being worked through.

I'm not saying that. Just that we all know better that to get excited about clips of something. Remember the clips of backspacer on amazon? And how amped we all were? Then look what happened. (*disclaimer. I love the balls of backspacer).

Or go and look at the first trailer for phantom menace. Probably the best trailer ever!!
And then...

.J. Abrams may have been the primary creative presence behind The Force Awakens, but it’s Rian Johnson who could very well be the architect of the new trilogy as we know it. That all begins with Episode VIII, a film he both wrote and directed. And while Colin Trevorrow will direct the next film in the saga, Johnson will also be penning the screenplay for Episode IX, making him the most important creative cog in the entire trilogy. All that being so, Episode VIII will be a key proving ground for him.

I guess i didnt now Johnson was writing the screenplay? This makes me feel a bit better about 9 with Trevorrow

He's writing it *with* Treverow and Derek Connolly who wrote Jurassic world.

I am fine with this because he directed and co-wrote the possibly one of the greatest hours of TV ever with Breaking Bad episode "Ozymandias"

He's writing the treatment. Others are writing the script.

If you're really attached to Carrie Fisher, I've got bad news for you.
