Milo, like everything about the alt-right, is awful.
As I saw it put recently, it's political incorrectness gone truly mad.
I have no reservations about Twitter banning him at all.

Had some of that Milo ice cream the other day. It's basically the paste method with chocolate bits. Pretty good actually but not as good as regular ice cream with milo added.theplatypus wrote:But let's go back to talking about the more important Milo -- the cholatey malt thing.

These things were so good:

The good old bars were like Milo powder encased in chocolate; they changed them about 15 years ago to a different, chewy kind of thing and they were terrible.

i hate when people decry freedom of speech is being violated. Freedom of speech allows you to say most anything you want but it does not mean there cant be repercussions. it also applies to government....not private or public businesses

The concern is that as people increasingly experience the world through their social networks, these businesses can guide opinion is ways that are not as obvious as something like Fox News. How do people become exposed to new ideas so they can evaluate them for themselves if not on social media? What happens when one of these businesses decides they don't like a particular viewpoint (or a particular person)? Their ability to silently shape opinion is frightening and it's worth taking pause to consider if the reaction was just in a context beyond this specific instance.Peeps wrote:i hate when people decry freedom of speech is being violated. I haven't seen this much anger over a book deal since OJ Simpson wrote "If I Did It".

I just read this whole thread and I'm very surprised that no one has mentioned Ovaltine? Is that similar to Milo?
