In watching that trailer i am struck by how much I have underrated the growth of Kanan from reluctant jedi trainer guy to full blown Jedi Master.

This has to be it for Maul. He's ran his course as a character. The more you use a threat (as a story element) the less powerful it is. He's passed that point a while ago.
I'm betting this season finale will be the end of him and Ezra and Kanan turn up either during or just after the showdown.

Kanan, I've always liked. But his growth from the beginning up to and though S2 is impressive. Watching that trailer a few pages back, it seems like he goes even further in S3. I can't wait to start S3.

Season 1: Episode 4 was the best one out of the first four. I like this guys, thanks for recommending it.
