I've been enjoying a warm little hot cider recipe lately. Bear with me here. One of the ingredients (Fireball) is gross on it's own.
One gallon cider
Half a bottle of the cheapest bourbon you can get away with and still enjoy
8 ounces butterscotch liquor
4 ounces Fireball
Let it all warm in the crock pot.
You could probably substitute a pat of butter to taste, but it won't be as boozy. Same goes for cinnamon. I adapted this recipe from our bar menu, so it's designed for quantity, consistency and cost.
