While Trump is probably refusing CNN access for all the wrong, narcissistic reasons, I don't have a problem with it in general. The president is under no obligation to answer cnn's questions, and his refusal is really no different than the canned non-answers politicians usually give when they don't want to answer. Personally I'd prefer flat out refusal to answer and drop the bullshit civility. Drop the charade, up to and including the "Mr. President" stuff. Relations between the media and government should be anything but cozy and deferential. Here's to open hostility! Also, CNN is cancer.
