Dearest Lenny...I know we don't talk at all anymore, but I'd be lying if I said that collection doesn't always remind me of you. I'm not making this up - "I'm Waking Up to Us" just played over the bar speakers here at work, actually.

It sounds kind of out of place in a bar, but I was happy to hear it come on.

I'm Waking Up To Us>Hangin' 'Round (Lou Reed, not Counting Crows)>Sorrow (From Bowie's Pin-Ups)>It's All Too Much>King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. 1

There's a recent five song run that happened on our Spotify playlist. I may have had a little to do with the queue. The people seem to like it so far.

Im listening to Metallica's discography for the first time today even though I know most of their songs from Guitar Hero: Metallica.

Ride the Lightning has a great first 4 songs in a row

Based on the fact that I enjoyed their songs from Spenno's last two year-end mixes, I'm finally checking out Cavern of Anti-Matter, starting with Blood Drums. Currently on "Dystopian Shopping Mall," and I love that it actually has a Muzak style shot through with kosmiche and kraut elements. Other tracks have reminded me of Stereolab (of course) and Suicide and/or Martin Rev's Clouds of Glory. I'm digging it.
