No. cos she was a treasure and brilliant and even one sentence from her mouth in honesty was better than every performance Harrison ford has turned in in over 25 years yet somehow he's a legend and she's not.
And stuff.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
I did not know this.
It explains a lot.
The giant map R2 is carrying isn't a map of the entire galaxy. It's actually a map of all the Jedi temples around the galaxy. And the section BB8 has is a lost /unknown part of space and the first Jedi temple is there but was never part of any archive, Luke found it himself..
So that means it's effectively a map of everywhere Luke has been and he took the BB8 section out and transmitted it to Lor San Tekka. If you look at TFA again in this light it does actually seem LST has just recently come into possession of the map and while that doesn't explain how the first order know me to come to get him, maybe they were hacking or spying on resistance transmissions and knew to follow whatever flights left the resistance base.
They do know where to aim when they decide to blow up the resistance base so it ties up.
That's so cool

Why would Luke cut that out of the map just to send it to this one guy no ones ever heard of before? If he sent it to LST so as to give a clue as to where to find him, who not just keep the map intact?
This makes no sense.

Makes loads of sense. In case R2 gets captured or destroyed or lost. He couldn't leave it complete in case the first order finds either piece
Stop ruining the fun!! Haha

Its a good theory. Always felt kinda weird about LST. I just hope we get to know more, because it was really weird to see Max Von Sydow in that brief character.dimejinky99 wrote:I did not know this.

Inserting small flashbacks could be a huge tool for Star Wars. Luke telling Rey about his journeys, small scenes explaining how he knows LST or his last time seeing and leaving han and Leia with a young Ben. It's a tool they should use.

in the middle of episode VIII, like at the tensest moment possible, they should cut away to a shot of Peter Faulk reading star wars to Fred Savage

Really did. True to the original spirit of his character though.
