It's so cool.
I thought that was the second. I'm only showing 2 eps so far: The Six Thatchers and The Lying Detective.

Oh right sorry.
It shows the zombie bride or whatever that was as my first of the season.

I was talking about the lying detective. Fuckin awesome episode.
Fuck yeah it was.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Both episodes were.... off.

The second was MUCH better than the first. I can't believe they killed off Mary. What a fucking terrible start to the new year. Chist.

The second episode was better but still felt off to me. Loved certain elements. And I honesty didn't notice the girls. Which is sort of amazing. So, yeah, liked but not sure I loved S4E2.

It was bound to happen. Watson's wife died in the original Doyle stories.

Something I don't get
Spoiler: show
the latest episode was like a big reveal about Mary's secret life but they already did this in season 3 when she shoots him. In the blackmail episode. It's weird.

i think tonally they are a bit blacker than is ideal. Holmes is such a dark character he needs lighter events to play off of. and watson should be Holmes' whipping boy, not lifes

I know. But it's still a big fat bummer. Maybe I'd feel differently if I knew this was the final season. Since it isn't, I just wish she could have stayed around longer. She was awesome. One of my favorite parts of the show.

Ok. They've dropped the ball. This is total bollox. The worst episode they ever came up with.

It's utter crap.

Agreed. If it's the end, it's a shame. If it is instead an out from the lengthy arc they've been doing and a door opening to occasional one-off mysteries for the next decade, then I'll be thrilled.

I Ought it was gonna tie up everything we see in the previous one. It didn't at all. Huge jump in style too. That was like a bad action movie you'd see the rock starring in. Woeful.

I thought the finale was fantastic, there never gonna beat the 2nd season though IMO.

Yeah there's a lot of people loving it. Most divisive episode I can remember.

Watched The Lying Detective last night. Possibly watch The Final Problem tonight. Hope I don't feel the same way about it as Dime did

That was certainly a fucking weird finale, but no more so than any of the zany shit they've done the last 2 seasons. I admit to kinda enjoying the happy ending. Would be totally fine if that were the end of the regular seasons.

Seasons 1 & 2 will be unfuckwithable forever. Don't know that I'll ever find myself needing to revisit 3 & 4.

Man, season 3 might be my favorite. They're all great though. The last episode was pretty intense

Just finished this last night. No real complaints about the final other than that speech at the end which was totally unnecessary
