I watched it a while back. I recall liking it but it didn't really have anything new for me. I remember being disappointed they skipped She's The One. The best one that I've seen was on VH-1 in the 90s. It was like 3 hours long. Of course that was with commercials. I don't know if it was a VH-1 production or a airing of an outside Doc.

Yeah it's an acceptable doc, just waaaaaay too long for what it is.

I tend to watch rock docs in chunks so length doesn't really bother me.

Its free on netflix so you can watch it in pieces but it might be the best rock doc around. Super in depth.

Tom Petty is just wonderful. What a great songwriter. Wildflowers is about as best as it gets.

Also, his sirius xm station is a fucking riot.

I don't know if the doc is any good but Wildflowers is one of the best albums of the 90s.

Greatest hits covers a lot, but Damn the Torpedoes is my favorite of his early records.
