Hard to say. US and Russia being bros will not please our buddies in the Arabian peninsula, who are the primary state sponsors of terror, being that their main economic goal over the last two decades has been to maintain their energy monopoly by replacing the EU's dependency on natural gas from Russia with their own supplies via long range pipelines through Iraq and Syria. On the plus side, cooperation with Russia will likely improve conditions in Syria. On the minus side, their are going to be a lot of pissed of syrian 'rebels' with a yuge dislike for America.

If I had to guess, 2017 will be the year of cyber attacks against western financial systems and institutions. An attack on the GPS system is not out of the equation either.

My general sense is that everyone more or less agrees that the overall state of US Politics sucks ass hard, and that Trump is a symptom of that. The cause and cure to those symptoms are up for debate, but no one has said that liberal whining was the "big problem," unless I've missed some key posts.

I was referring to the days immediately after when everyone was trying to tell us that bubbles and not reaching out to the working mayun' is what really did us in.

That's only why the democrats lost the election, not that it was good or bad.

p.s. Saying 'fuck you' and calling them the working mayun' is a poor way to win their votes.
