I got shut out. I tried for tickets for Atlanta and Seattle first, then the other cities.

I sat in the virtual queue for 30 minutes and then got shut out, but a friend got 4 GA tickets so I should be good to go. I'm going to try tomorrow with the Ticketmaster sale to see if I can get my friends in the door though.

I keep hoping these bumps are going to be Ridley with his B-sides comp, but every damn time it's just one of you yahoos chiming in to share that you couldn't get tickets.

Once again, because of stupid Lollapalooza, Chicago gets screwed out of a proper show from yet another awesome band.
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the last time Radiohead actually played Chicago that wasn't Lolla the 2006 shows? I'm not counting Tinley Park because that place is a dump.
how pumped is matt reeder for this portland show
Pumped. I haven't seen them in 9 years and I've got lots of friends who are huge fans who have never seen them.
The question was "How pumped..."
Like the Kool-Aid Man, man. I get one of my friend's GA tickets. So yeah, like the Kool-Aid Man.

This is pretty much the only big band worth caring about now.

This is gonna be a good spring. I've got Radiohead & PJ Harvey in my hometown within a month of each other.

Freaking $106 per ticket, but still. IN.
Got 2 of the same through Ticketmaster...mine were $117, but I didn't care - really stoked for this show :bammer:

I somehow got through. They went FAST. But we're in. Lower bowl, about 7 rows up from the floor behind the soundboard. My friend was trying to buy a single and come stay with us, but he got completely shut out. I definitely feel lucky

trag, we def need to get some beers

Eh. Not the best sound depending on your location, unfortunately. If you're on the floor, the sound will all be the same where ever you stand. I was close to the same seat location when RH came for the KoL tour. Every time I've been on the floor, it seems to be set up in two sections with an aisle down the middle and on either side near the edges. Security is kind of insane about people getting in the walkways. Last time we were on the floor during Arcade Fire, we ended up just walking to the back by the soundboard where it's usually more of a casual hangout spot without as much crowding. Neither the wife or I enjoy being in the sardine situation that GA can create, so our go-to is to kind of hang back.

That being said, it's probably the best big concert location in the area. Tacoma Dome is alright, it's similar to Key Arena, but I'm guessing they are going for a more central location to their demographic of fans. And thank GOD they aren't playing White River Amphitheater again.

Are there usually ticket drops closer to/day of Radiohead's shows? We may venture over the pond when they're in Ireland and I don't want to pay secondary market prices.
