it's so great how he and belichick found one another

guy had become a complete miscreant

didn't have the respect of any NFL front office

didn't demonstrate that he deserves to be treated with respect

never really looked like he cared whether or not he is treated with respect

just bowls over NFL-sized defensive players en route to yardage

clearly is respected by belichick

might play on a series of 1-year deals for the next 13 years and not mind at all

Barring a blowout loss the Falcons will probably be in the Thursday season opener. They'll host if they win, probably Dallas or Green Bay. But they play at New England next season and a Super rematch would most likely get picked as the opener.
