Sure. Flying the Millennium Falcon is like the video game test. If Rey does good enough, the Jedi will come kidnap her and make her fight in their war.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Ugh I was hoping Rey wouldn't be in this movie.

Are people even ready to deal with the possibility rey will go to the dark side?

Imagine how unsatisfactory that would be? Unless they really really earn it and justify it.

Most likely to happen theory. Rey is left with two truths by the end of 8. She's told she's Luke's daughter or she's told something darker and doesn't know what to believe.

What if Kylo tells her Luke killed her mother? In order to tempt her away from Luke and to the dark side?

But we and she doesn't find out the truth until 9

Didn't Rey make some sort of comment during an interview or something? I know it's been stated somewhere that we find this out in this movie.

Oh that. Nah she just said she thought it was obvious and was surprised people didn't see it.

She then said we'll have to wait for episode 8 to find out.

That's kinda vague not a tell at all.

There has been no 100% official confirmation that we will have the answer in The Last Jedi. A lot of people have said a lot of things, and as is always the case with Disney and Lucasfilm, there is plenty of room for speculation in all of the things that people have said.

Wease, don't bother going back and reading everyone's wiggle-grams. Just expect to have the answer in Episode 8. Then if it comes in The Last Jedi, you can be super excited and pleasantly surprised.

I wonder how she thinks it is "obvious" unless she is Kylo's sister? Ugh. Go a different route besides the obvious Solo or Skywalker as parents...

I interpret her comments in two ways:

1) She's not related to anyone we know yet. It's "obvious" because that's what the movie leads one to believe. There is nothing in the film that points in a specific direction if you're not a rabid Star Wars fan who thinks everyone has to be related to someone/a Skywalker.

2) She's a Kenobi.

I'm not sure how "obvious" it is that she's Kylo's sister since it's pretty clear in the text that he doesn't know who she is. On top of that Han and Leia don't betray any recognition. And Han has a sit ton of time with her. They're gonna have to pull some really tricky shit to make her Kylo's sister. Cousin? Fine, maybe. But I just don't see how she could be Kylo's sister that doesn't completely ruin/discredit TFA and makes tha movie unwatchable (sorry, LV, more unwatchable than it already is).

She could be anything really. Think I'll only be disappointed if she's a nobody unless there's a cool story in the background that comes around to confront her later on in the next one.
