Also, The Color of Pomegranates I saw relatively recently, and - no exaggeration - that movie changed my fucking life. I really feel like it somehow rewired my brain. I haven't been able to look at the world the same way since.

It's one of the best black comedies ever made, and Bale is just insanely good in it. The whole thing is pretty brilliant to me every time I watch it.
