What backstory do we need? From infancy to the day her mother was killed? I don't feel that we were shorted any in the movie as far as her past goes.dimejinky99 wrote:Star Wars: Rebel Rising novel to tell Jyn Erso's backstory!

It brought feeling and faith back to the mystery of it all. The faith/skepticism dynamic between those was fun to watch play out.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Yeah. Same, I'm reading the prequel book and Jyn's mother also feels/seeks a connection to the Force. Cool stuff.wease wrote:Yes.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Yeah. Good to hear - I picked this up the other day, but haven't started it yet. Haven't read any other EU novels before so I'm intriguedMonkey_Driven wrote:Yeah, I'm enjoying it. Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
I've read several in the old Expanded Universe, but only Tarkin and that one in the new. I feel like I need to watch the prequels again to remember the political maneuvering.Rangi Guy wrote:Good to hear - I picked this up the other day, but haven't started it yet.
