I hope she was in on that because i felt really fucking bad for her. She looked like she was either ready to cry or kill him.stip wrote:http://collider.com/star-wars-8-josh-gad-daisy-ridley/#images
Also, it came across as one of those porn movies where they pretend to interview a girl then end up banging them.

Daves Theory #27362837
Inverted poetry
Last thing we see in Rogue One is a father standing on a precipice in the darkness watching his daughter escape. They never see each other in that moment and Both of them unknowing and unaware of their connection. Leias escape means hope. Snatching victory out of Vaders dark.
Last thing we see in force awakens is a father standing on a precipice in the light, watching his daughter return. They see each other in that moment and Both of them immediately aware of their connection. Reys return means despair? Thrusting defeat into Luke's light?
Things that keep me awake at night.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
The best way this can be a great movie is if it explores the gray areas. It is too simplistic and will be very disappointing if the story is as straightforward as it seems. Good girl. Bad guy. Etc.
The basic backstory I would like to see is that Luke was tasked with training Kylo and Rey with other padawans. While Rey was younger, she was very strong with the force both dark and light--this becomes troubling to Luke. Meanwhile, Kylo is discovered to have little to no force ability and becomes enraged that he does not have this awesome power.
This could go one of two ways. Either he leaves without doing damage or he burns it to the ground. I will go with the first option because that gives him more room for redemption later.
Either way, this news leads to his obsession with becoming a force user. He stumbles upon Snoke who teaches him that Sith artifacts have strong powers if you know how to harness them and this appeals to Kylo so he sets out to collect. Maybe that is all he really has going for him is ambition and a few helmets and Snoke's knowledge about how to be a pseudo force user.
To prove his allegiance to Snoke, he has to destroy the Jedi Academy and Luke with the Knights of Ren as foreshadowed in TFA. Luke is able to rescue young Rey and wipe her memory (this is referenced in the novelization--the memory block) and hides her away while he evaluates what has happened and to keep her safe as he knows Kylo will look for him.
The hiding of the map with Lor San Tekka and R2-D2 shows that Luke knew who she was and that she would eventually find him. Seems he wants her to. Needs her to.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
I'm betting we're gonna have Steve Stanton who voices Obi Wan in the upcoming Rebels episode, voice Obi Wan in 8. I'd say beat for beat talking to Luke about training Rey as he talked to Yoda about training Luke.
She'll probably overhear it too
He sounds 100% like Guinness' kenobi too. Didn't a lot of us think they'd used audio from the OT?
