Distilling the notable stories in The Clone Wars down to a feature length film + more Clone Wars and the last hour of Revenge of the Sith + some sort of Ahsoka/Rebels/Rogue One mashup would have been a fantastic prequel trilogy. I'm sure many have said that before, but what the hell, I'll say it too.

How much does all of this extended Star Wars canon have to do with Dave Filoni's influence? I continue to see his name pop up, but I'm not very familiar with his career in LucasFilm projects.

I've just started season 5 ( no, I haven't been watching every episode, but I have been watching in order). Interesting how Saw and Steela Gerrera have been introduced. And how much Ahsoka has been a part of it.

I feel I need to be clear, I have watched all of Season 5 episodes so far. I'm up to the 5th (Hondo!!!).

They've really got to find a way to include him in a movie.

Shit really picks up in Season Two. I've enjoyed every episode so far. Season One was a mess but I'm in love with this show now.

There was just a really good arc in season 4 that was mostly about the clones, but it was held back by the fact that the series simultaneously wants us to think of the clones as people and individuals while they embrace a system that treats them like disposable slaves. Again, it's part of the larger incoherence of the structure and politics of the world they are forced to operate in.

The animation and design in this show is exceptional.

So, Barriss Offee is interesting. Does she feature more as this thing goes on? Seems like she could be a cool character depending on what she's given and where they take her.

Also, Luminara Unduli is awesome.

I'm into season 4 now and it's a mess. Man, season 3 ended on a really high note, but 7 episodes into s4 and it all pretty much sucks.

It sounds like it will pick up soon and with 13 episodes left, I'm hopefull, but this had been a really bad start.

I love that following people's thoughts on characters and arcs in TCW is as varied and out-of-sync as the sequence of episodes in the series.

I watched the episodes last night where Obi Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex got captured by the slave traders. Those were fun episodes.

I watched the episodes last night where Artoo and Threepio have a series of misadventures. Also fun episodes, but for completely non-canonical reasons.
