I would, repeatedly. He's a one-note comedian so amateur he laughs at his own terrible jokes. But a lot of people find him endearing, and he seems very well-connected, so I guess there's that.
Yeah, i hate him. From the days of SNL....and im glad his career as an actor was a failure.
I saw him do standup once at my university. It was painfully awful. The guy is a hack. But...he seems to have a good idea about how to book artists and work with them, so I'll give him that too.
Speaking of Metallica, I stumbled upon a full video of my only Metallica show on YouTube recently. I got a really good one at the tail end of Jason's run in the band, and I've never really wanted to see them again despite my hero worship of their first four albums. They closed with this:
They also played "Blackened", which melted my brain into a million pieces. So so so good.
The guy who works in his show booking bands is amazing...is Jonathan Cohen...he is really good.

I haven't listened to it all the way through in a while but I remember thinking the first half is pretty solid. Like the first 7 songs are all pretty solid.
Another possibly unpopular opinion, I think 'Kill 'Em All' is their best album.
It's my #2. Battery is probably my favorite song. It may even be Metallica as their best as a band. It's just so good (you can apply that to the whole album).
