What'd you think of The Night Of?
I liked it quite a bit. It got a little "by the numbers" in the latter half but the finale was very solid. Great performances throughout.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yea, it was like the best episode of Law & Order ever.
Spoiler: show
I liked the hung jury decision. Seems more authentic than a normal verdict. Torturo's closing statement was awesome.

Yeah I watched season 1. It is good, but it took a while to set everything up. Once it did though the last few eps of the season were really good.

Cool I'll give it a whirl. Got into man in the high castle and it just lost it early season two so I need something new.

I think I'm gonna try this again. I really liked the pilot, but they lost on me on the second episode.

That's okay. She probably doesn't get you either. Forget about her, Len.
she's never even tried to get me, though
You don't know that.
does she lurk on here?
I don't know. Ask Jorge.
he's gone
Where did he go?
california, i think...he said he won't be posting
Oh. Well just ask him when he gets back, Len. Christ.
he might never come back
He'll be back.
nobody ever comes back from southern california
He needs this place.
he has over a thousand close friends, each more interesting and exotic than the next...he doesn't need this place at all
And yet he keeps coming back here time and time again. He's a natural curator, Lenny. He needs to collect our stories. We offer something his exotic friends can provide. And of course, the pleasant side affect is that we get Jorge in our lives.
so he's justin theroux's character in parks and rec?
Basically, yeah.
that guy left their lives completely after a few episodes
That was a budgetary issue. RM is immune to those restrictions.
then why did my posting fees more than double this year?
Sounds like someone's out to snow you, friend. I haven't paid posting fees since 2010! I'd strongly urge launching an independent investigation.

I couldn't even finish the pilot.

It takes a few episodes to build the story, but once it gets there it's enjoyable

Guys, I love The Mick. But more specifically, I love Kaitlin Olson IN The Mick. She's so fucking funny. Her reactions are outstanding. She might genuinely be one of the greatest comedic actors out there today.

Why did nobody tell me Tom Hardy was in Taboo??

There isn't a man alive doesn't want to either be Tom hardy or have Tom hardy inside him.

I'm watching Taboo.
