Whenever I listen to PJ's Unplugged performance...

Post by mikejasond »

I wonder why bother? Because jeez, that was amazing, and Eddie isn't even 1% as good as he was there anymore :(

Not many people ever are as good as Eddie was in that performance.

This is pretty much the truth though. Early Eddie had an iconic voice.

There are few bands less suited to an acoustic performance than 1992 Pearl Jam. Arguably the most unduly praised performance of the band's career.

Thank god someone agrees. I listened to it the other day and I kept thinking, "This is weak shit."

Yeah unplugged is way overrated. Benaroya is definitely a better show. That Mansfield pre set too.

I love the unplugged but i always felt any of the acoustic setting were better...benaroya, mansfield, etc. They were a better band with more suited songs for it.
