Yeah I think this too. And also, why October? That's literally ages away.

This is a nitpicky songwriting thing, but it really feels like that chorus should go double at the very end.

Unless they truly are finishing artwork and the actual tracklist

"And if [something] is over then we sure could use him now"

I'm hearing:
An infantile (disorder?) but we sure could use it now

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't totally finished.

yeah, is it possible they haven't settled which 12 tracks will be on it? maybe, they're considering the response this single has?

Very possible. But then why be so sure about the album title? It's potentially the worst thing about this album.

Me either.

These are the guys who changed their second album title after the first run was printed, afterall.

This is gonna be all over the radio here. They played it 3 times in a row earlier.

I don't think it's cookie cutter at all. It's a much better written song than their last few attempts at this.

Also, nowhere in their catalog are there leads like the ones Mike plays, or with Eddie singing with this much resonance in his voice.

I said it was too creative....FOR. THE. TYPICAL. FAN.

I think it will be over their heads. Again, I didn't say it was a masterpiece. I just think it's too good and people won't get it. I'm very cynical like that. There are already comments about how it's not nearly as commercial as their last few attempts at singles.

I guess time will tell.

The important thing is to not have the album out to capitalize on that. If you can wait to drop it until the luster's gone...you're doin alright

There is no NYC station to play this anymore. 101.9 was our last hope, and that crashed and burned twice.

Or release a sweet second single when the album drops.

I havent been able to listen to it anywhere but my desk.

I will be making up for that later! I will also be taking off work early to go home and load it up on my ipod. Will play it through stereo system, headphones and then the car ride to yoga!

Then Ill probably be singing it whilst holding a meaty warrior pose and staring at yoga butt.
