He's certainly not a "favorite" guy or anything. But I'm got nothing against him. I think I've only seen like two of his movies? And I liked those.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Nope. I've seen FOUR of his films. And I really liked his performance in two of them. And was fine with his work in the other two. So, yeah. Not gonna sing the guys praises from the rooftops or anything. But I don't seem to have much of an issue with him.

He does look like the kinda guy I wouldn't want to hang out with though. Of course, that's shitty because I know nothing about him at all. Maybe he's a cool guy.

Pound-for-pound (what's the percentage rate for my enjoying a particular actors' work), probably Richard Jenkins. From "We just don't give out that kind of information at Hard Bodies" to his work in Olive Kitteridge, and then his recent darkly comic turn in Bone Tomahawk, I think he is batting damn near 1000.

Least favorite? Does Rosie O'Donnell count as an actor?
You didn't like her dressed up in a dominatrix costume in that movie with Dan Akroyd?

I liked her ok in A League of Their Own.

Ugh, that movie with the dominatrix costume was awful!
And she'd be the first one to tell you that.

I was really hoping my post would instigate a discussion of Richard Jenkins' brilliance, not Rosie O'Donnell.
Welp... hope in one hand, shit in the other, amirite?

Oddly, that image of her is the absolute ONLY thing I remember about it.

That's not odd at all. It was the only thing anyone showed on TV and the only thing anyone wanted to talk about. And nobody saw the actual movie, so of course it's all you remember.
