Who's Your Favorite (and Least Favorite) Actor?

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Ryan Reynolds isn't a good actor. But I like him. Benedict Cumberbatch, however, is a very fine actor and does not deserve to be on anyone's "turd" list. Unless he personally took a shit on you. Then, I'll allow it.

The gossip rags paint him as sort of a shit, so it must be true.

Benedict Cumberbatch? Really? I think I've only seen him mentioned once for any kind of shitty behavior. And he apologized and clarified his comments immediately and I haven't seen much else from him or about him. But I also go out of my way to keep a safe distance between myself and celebrity gossip. Maybe he is shitty. That would suck, but he's still a good actor.

And if we can make excuses and say the same about Mel fucking Gibson, then I'm sure we can cut Cumberbatch some slack too.

Well, it has to do with his persona...his whole artist scheme, him wanting to be a somehow respected actor...you are too late for that kid. You are nor Pitt nor Depp. Fuck off, you got jobs because you have blonde hair and blue eyes. Thats it.

it would be hard for me to come up with an all time favorite list, but i would say in college (2001-2005) was when my film horizons really started expanding...so i'd say my favorites since that time are in no particular order:

i'm sure there's at least 5 or 6 others i could put right up there with them
