I think so, yes. Not as good as Riot Act or Yield, but better than S/T and Backspacer (so far).

I've said all along it would be great if Pearl Jam could do something similar in quality to what Soundgarden did with King Animal. They are off to a good start as I rate MYM above Been Away Too Long.
this is essentially where i'm at.

Sure it's another punk style song that they always seem to launch as their lead single these days, but there are elements to this song that I like. It's less shiny than the Fixer, and heavier without being too abrasive like comatose. Let's just see how it goes after hearing a few more times.

Yes, please. It seems to sound better to me on my headphones. But maybe that's the honeymoon talking.

Matt does pretty much one complex fill in this song. It kind of needs Travis Barker on it.

Now that we know the 2nd clip on that tour vid is MYM does that make it seem more likely that the first clip is also on the album?

Sounds good to me on headphones but I'm nowhere near as nerdy about sound as some people on here. Nothing is as distracting as S/T volume-wise. That album would distort if it was loud. This doesn't, at least not in my headphones.

Yes. I'm excited to hear the rest. This will be a long three months.

Maybe I'm a apparition that's sourced from the combination of all of the members of this board. You could say, there's a little bit of all of you inside me.

Eww.

LYRICS MIND YOUR MANNERS : seems the right ones!!!

I've got an unfortunate feeling
i've been beaten down
i feel i don't believe and now the truth is comin' out
what they take is more than a vow
they've taken your innocence and then they go around and burn and violate it

i'm only saying
mind your manners

i caught myself believing
that i needed god
and if it's out there somewhere
we sure could use it now

trying my patience
my patience's trying
this world don't know no better
and it makes me wanna cry

i'm only saying
mind your manners
someone say it

self-realized and metaphysically redeemed
may not live another life
may not solve a mystery
right around the corner
could be bigger than ourselves
we could will it to the sky
or we could something else

ya know, no one's sayin'
mind your manners
always praying

self-realized and metaphysically redeemed
may not live another life
may not solve a mystery
right around the corner
could be bigger than ourselves
we could will it to the sky
or we could something else

go to heaven
that's swell
how do you like it
living in hell

go to heaven
that's swell
how do you like it
living in hell

go to heaven
that's swell
how do you like it
living in hell

living in hell
Calibrate your enthusiasm

Same. At least we'll have fake tracklists to tide us over. 3 months worth of fake tracklists.

That surprises me. I'm not sure why it sounds better to me. But then I haven't listened to an album through yet so...
