i would be surprised if after all the banks have been through (bankruptcies, massive layoffs, $10B - $20B fines, hyper-regulatory scrutiny, reduced pay, public protest) they would decide to just go apeshit again and lend to people likely to default; in an effort to create MBS and then sell them to retarded pension plan trustees.
