Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

And I don't believe Will Ferrell is even remotely one-note. While the joke is always the same -- he's always playing a guy who is completely oblivious to how ridiculous he's coming across to other people -- he manages to create fresh versions of that character constantly. The guy from Stepbrothers is not the guy from Anchorman is not the guy from Casa de Mi Padre is not the guy from Talladega Nights. Leslie Jones is not doing anything like that, but I don't necessarily think it's her fault.

Hate it, but it's true.

I'd much rather watch Leslie fail at her one great thing, than watch Will be an asshole at his one thing.

Yea, I actually don't like Talladega Nights very much. Ferrell and Reilly are hysterical, but for some unknown reason they cram in enough Nascar footage to hinder the comedy.

i'm not that big of a ferrell fan, but he is by no means one-note...also as jorge said it's not even so much that jones is one note, it's just that note is terrible
