They need to trade for Butler. Isaiah will get trapped to death in the playoffs. No secondary scorer or ball handler on that team.
I agree, but I don't think Butler gets them over Cleveland. I think it gets them out of the first round, though, and maybe more, but this edition of the C's have yet to win a playoff series. I dunno I almost want them to hold off on trading the pick.
I don't think holding on to the picks really gets a team like the Celtics anywhere though. They have some vets, they have a scoring guard and they are pretty well coached. If Ainge doesn't want to use the assets to boost the team then why does he have them? Jaylen Brown is nice but he's a project. Let trash teams like the Bulls try and grow something from a lottery pick project.

And Isaiah can't guard anyone.

I don't trust that Isaiah is the worst defender in the league stat. He's a willing defender and puts effort in on that end. He had a great one on one shut down the other night. Its not like the matador defense Harden played. There has to be something odd going on in how they compile that stat. He's not great or even good but the worst no way.

I expect them to go out in the first round again.
Indiana Chicago or Charlotte scare you? The Pistons? I could see them as second round fodder but Stevens is too good of a coach to lose to any of those teams.
I'm doing the 4/5 move of downplaying my teams chances to avoid disappointment.

with last night's win over the lakers, the c's move to first place all time in wins for whatever that's worth.

Boston and Los Angeles began the night with with 3,252 wins, tied for the most in NBA history. Before their loss, the Lakers held at least a share of the league’s all-time victories mark since 2001. The odds of both teams entering Friday’s game with the same win total was 1 in 8,292.

Draymond defending Lebrons honor too now. Do these guys get together in the offseason, rent out an entire hotel and rub each other's balls or something? Draymond pretending riding coat tails to a ring gives him enough clout to tell Barkley to shut up is absurd.

I've been seeing a lot of really bad calls rewarding guys who are foul hunting lately. Weird rip throughs, extended legs, ect. Last night Harden literally just jumped on Michael Carter Williams back in crunch time to get his free throws. I'd really like to see some sort of adjustment to the rules that would reward guys who are talented enough to score without that ugly shit.

16 points from the Warriors bench in an overtime game where Durant scores only 10? Not good enough.

Moses Malone, Kareem, John Stockton (mostly for his dirty play), and Bird.
