I mean, most people probably shouldn't start with TFA either in the Star Wars universe. *shrugs*

I think I deduced the bacta tank was for healing when I saw ESB as a kid. I don't think it really needs to be explained.

Noooooooo. I'm jealous as shit of people who get to watch the films in story order.E.H. Ruddock wrote:If someone had not seen ESB before R1, then they are stupid and deserve no explanation for the bacta tank.tragabigzanda wrote:No, but in ESB its narrative purpose is self-evident: Luke has been wounded, he looks like shit, it's obviously healing him.LoathedVermin72 wrote:It's not explained in ESB. And even so, if you haven't seen ESB before watching R1, that's on you.tragabigzanda wrote:Again, you would have to know that to get it.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Luke was in one in ESB. It doesn't require explanation.
So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
There's some pretty dumb stuff in this movie.
The two monk guys just Buddy up with cassian and Jyn cos reasons?
The Death Star has already fired but the order to kill Galen stands?
Their ship crashes in eadu but luckily there's an imperial shuttle just lying around
Can't figure out if these are movie problems or just star wars problems.

They all get taken hostage together by Saw's people and then they have to escape togehter. What else were they supposed to do?
Why wouldn't it? Just because a city has been destroyed doesn't mean it's reached full planet destruction capability. Hell, if you have a problem with this, why is the empire still mining Kyber crystals?
There is ALWAYS a ship laying around in Star Wars. (HEY LOOK ITS THE MILLENIUM FALCON OVER THERE!!).
But its also a cargo delivery area on eadu. There's going to be ships there.

I'm almost with you on the falcon but I'm 90% sure we're gonna find out it was left there intentionally to be given to Rey at some point.
