The Third Man is very good but, IMO, super overrated.

I can get on board with this, actually. I really love the movie but I also think it's overrated.

You should read Paula Vogel's play The Baltimore Waltz.

Finding Dory on Netflix. Really disappointing. Pretty to look at, but what a boring script.

Pretty good. Kinda bland, but I guess that fits.
Saw this last night. The perfect movie to watch over America's finest weekend.

I love that movie so much.
It was absurdly funny at times, incredibly odd at others, and just generally a mind fuck. I couldn't tell if it was serious about the whole animal thing or if it was a scam by the person who owns the hotel. I mean, "this is your brother, he's a dog. No we didn't just go and buy a dog at a shelter. Take our word for it." Usually the hard science behind a story takes me out of it if I don't like it (I hate zombies, for example) but this one got a pass.

Too bad for you: Lizzy Caplan isn't nearly as good as Isla Fisher.

I watched half of American Honey last night and really wasn't feeling it. I love Andrea Arnold but it feels like she's on autopilot here.

"The Nice Guys"

Surprisingly good.

I guess if you didn't like Lethal Weapon or Kiss Kiss Bang Bang or Iron Man 3 you would be surprised that The Nice Guys was a good film.

Ouch, trolled in the movie thread. And Iron Man 3 sucked.

I do, for sure. KKBB is great, IM3 is one of the best entries in the MCU, and I really liked Nice Guys a lot. He makes good, fun movies that are easy to watch but don't melt your brain with their stupidity, either.

The Edge Of Seventeen.

PIECE OF CRAP. Hailee Steinfeld is a nerd who cant get friends or boyfriends?? are you kidding me?? There is absolutely no story at all. The big brother is such a wooden asshole is just astonishing how the movie treat him.
