leslie jones as samuel l jackson was terrible

screw ups aside, weekend update was pretty bad too
it seemed like everyone, including leslie jones, knew her sam jackson was terrible, so it actually made it kinda funny.

nah, i haven't watched it in years. I don't care about football and I hate commercials.
i was hoping you would watch it so we would have something insightful to discuss in tinychat

Totino's Pizza Rolls was excellent, wasn't sure where it was going.

Family Feud:
Kenan hilarious as always as Steve Harvey.
Leslie Jones was awful.
Alex Moffatt's Casey Affleck was spot on - this got the biggest laugh of the night out of me.
Kristen Stewart was more attractive as Gisele than Gisele.

Weekend Update:
I usually hate the guests, but love Kenan as David Ortiz.

Meet Cute was great - wish Pete Davidson would get more sketches.

Melissa Villasenor is god awful in everything.

Yeah, even without Melissa McCarthy, it was one of the strongest episodes in... maybe years. But with that skit, it hits legendary status. One of the best ever.

Probably the most solid episode this season. Never great, but solid throughout

I thought it was the single best episode I've seen over the last three years. Now, I'm no aficionado. Far from. But I've seen ever episode this year. Every episode from last year. And half of the year before that. I also didn't watch SNL from 1998 through 2012 except for random skits on YouTube. So, I don't really know what I'm talking about. But I fucking LOVED this episode.

This episode is very bad. Also, I'm realizing I really do not care for Aidy Bryant.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm shocked you guys think this episode was so good. Outside of McCarthy as Spicer, I don't think I laughed once. That was maybe the worst Weekend Update I've ever seen, and the Family Feud sketch was death.

it was hit or miss for me...i either really liked the skit, or felt it was a trainwreck
