I thought it was the single best episode I've seen over the last three years. Now, I'm no aficionado. Far from. But I've seen ever episode this year. Every episode from last year. And half of the year before that. I also didn't watch SNL from 1998 through 2012 except for random skits on YouTube. So, I don't really know what I'm talking about. But I fucking LOVED this episode.

It's definitely a contender for me, and I've seen them all. Off the top of my head, some of the other great ones have been Edward Norton, Martin Freeman, and I *think* Louis CK's second appearance. I'd need the dust to settle a bit, but it's a real possibility.

I was actually thinking of you when I watched this. I felt like you would especially appreciate the energy of the night -- the way everyone came out swinging, and how many things clicked, but even those that didn't were great fun in their vibe and overall sense of irreverence that Kristen Stewart brought.

You know me so well.

I'm shocked you guys think this episode was so good. Outside of McCarthy as Spicer, I don't think I laughed once. That was maybe the worst Weekend Update I've ever seen, and the Family Feud sketch was death.

I don't know what to tell you, friend. I though it was all pretty great.

Me too and i haven't loved anything on SNL in years. The obvious political sketches were aggressively hilarious, the Family Fued sketch (skitch) was amazing. I loved the Casey Affleck impersonation. Just fantastic. Leslie Jones as Sam Jackson was hilarious as well because she obviously knew it was awful but wennt with it.

The totino's pizza rolls was incredible. Weekend update was awkwardly hilarious.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
