Overheard a fun argument.
Blue apron isn't cooking food. It's preparing food. No imagination no cooking skills blah blah
Other guy just goes 'you're just pissed cos I can afford it'.

it's great if you really don't know what you're doing in the kitchen, and it's not very expensive

cooked the chopped up figs in some olive oil for a few minutes, added water and some vinegar and the blood orange juice to make it into a sauce

bone in with skin, or boneless, skinless?wease wrote:Baked chicken breast and salad
i always buy bone-in split breasts (they're cheaper) and bake them after skewering the skin. they're more moist (gross word aside). then i de-bone and de-skin them after cooking. more flavorful too.

I just got my hands on some pretty dank onion and radish sprouts. I think I'll make a turkey sandwich to take with me to work tonight.

Mrs Wease bought them and they were marinated in the store. Not wanting what little bit of marinade was on them, I didn't brine them first and they came out about as dry as you would expect.
If I kept the skin on, I would eat it. That's the most flavorful part of the chicken.
