I want a found footage movie like I want a musical: not at all.

Sitting here thinking about it, it almost should be found footage - at least at the beginning - in that it's not like Batman the vigilante is going to announce himself or anything. He's just going to show up and start kicking ass. So kind of like Batman 89 but with less Burton.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Man I would fucking love that. Christopher Reeves had more legs than this film.
But here's my idea.

Well, one half is doing Deadpool 2 and the other half did John Wick 2.

We could get some hip cool new indie director in. That'd make everybody happy.

Xavier Dolan should direct it

I think it could be interesting. Green Room's final act is awful but the tension it builds is wonderful. And i love Blue Ruin.durdencommatyler wrote:That's who James Gunn said he wanted to see do it.VinylGuy wrote:Jeremy Saulnier.
And they both look great.

I don't think I've seen any of his work. But I WANT to see both of those films you mentioned.VinylGuy wrote:I think it could be interesting. Good. That's how I was gonna do it based on title alone.

By the way. Deadpool 2 is gonna be a raging disappointment. No matter what happens.

I don't really want any of these choices. Let's face it: DC is fucked at this point. It was a beautiful dream.

You're not wrong. It's bizarre how they keep melting down on what seems a weekly basis.

I was thinking the other day that I woulda seen ID2 if they'd brought Randy Quaid back...just said his character was in a coma like the others. I'd probably have gone twice, just to confirm that he didn't do different things at each showing. I mean, there's zero chance you're making a scripted movie at that point...so lets dance. .
This movie needs something like that.
