You never go full Andrew Jackson, the Worst. President. Ever.
Come to think of it, Jackson would probably be even more obnoxious on Twitter if it existed in his day. I should see if anyone has created a fake Andrew Jackson account.

So we're going to see. The fact that Trump, who doesn't strike me as the most astute scholar in American history, has taken such a shine to Jackson isn't the best comfort. My worry is less political and more that someone as pampered as Trump has been throughout his life can take being told he can't do something for four years.
When it comes to hypocrisy, that quote 4/5 threw up a few pages back about deficit spending is hard to beat.
“If there is a temporary increase in the deficit to get our economy growing, I think my fellow Republican members are willing to look at the long game,” said Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.), a Trump loyalist. “A growing economy and growing our way to success and financial stability is what we want to see.”
I mean, there's garden variety hypocrisy, and then there's "the absolute core of my economic ideology? Fuck that."
Just read an article in my local paper about how farmers on the west coast who supported Trump are freaking the fuck out because they are losing 70% of their farm hands to the new Immigration law.
