if he did, who would you like to see in that role?
Christian Bale

I like him a lot in BVS...it would be a shame if he steps down after 2 movies.

While I disagree with you on Bale, I still can't believe someone thought it would be a good idea to have Affleck play Batman. :shake:

I actually think he was a great Batman. But his behavior around this whole situation has been utterly spineless.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Sounds like a more slobby Bruce Wayne, actually.

Reports of him feeling humiliated by the reception to BvS, and now possibly wanting out of the role, point to that. But getting out of the director's chair makes a lot of sense to me considering how involved the director's role is in addition to starring in it and maintaining the superhero physique. Sounds like a recipe for a complete meltdown

They'll end up getting Colin Farrell to do it and finally DC will die in the turd flame it deserves.

I don't really care who they get to play Batman. I'm much more bummed by the very real possibility that all of this means we aren't gonna get Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke. And that might be the biggest loss in this whole thing.

Yeah I get it. He had a string of flops several years back that culminated in the J Lo movie that basically made him a joke for a decade. He somehow clawed his way back to respectability and is probably scared to do anything to go back to where he was. Though if he thinks his gangster movie failed because of blow back from BvS he's deluded.

What about going totally bonkers with casting Batman? Like Michael Keaton unconventional but x 100. Like, what about Will Ferrell as Batman? Or Kyle Mooney?
