I would be way into a subversive, off-the-wall take on the franchise...But doesn't the new Lego movie sort of accomplish that?
I don't recognize Lego movies.

How about John Leguizamo? He'd be an amazing Batman!

You know, if they want to go with "Old Man Batman" (so to speak) I think you could do a lot fucking worse than Kurt Russell. That's a great call.

Change the director to Nancy Meyers and you've got yourself a bargain.

I always thought Josh Brolin would make a good Batman.

Yeah, I'd be into that. He's a way better actor than Affleck. Too bad he's tied up for the next decade doing all the Avengers movies.

I wonder if he has something in his contract that says no DC.

I always wonder about stuff like that. Seems like they would do that kind of thing but I have no idea.

Get Tom cruise to do it. He could really get into that small man syndrome / insecure psychology batman has.

I know errybody thinks I hate Tom Cruise. But I actually would love to see his take on Batman. I think it could be fascinating. He has enough action acting experience and a enough personal baggage to bring something sinister and fresh to the role. He'd be much less cerebral than either Keaton or Bale. Much more cock/pelvis than head.

God, if it was announced tomorrow that Affleck is to leave the Batman role, that would make the press tour around Justice League so awkward

Maybe they should cast him as both Batman AND Joker. That would be pretty fucking rad.
