This is a good sign. Win/win.
Or lose! 'Not tonight hun - you gave me a headache!'

Seems to me like a silly thing to bemoan while at a message board dedicated to discussing music.
Silly to say or not, the point remains and looms large over you.
Cool, OK.

Fundamentally, I just don't see anything glaringly wrong with them, I guess. Perhaps I'm easily pleased.
really hoping this album will be better than the last 2. theyve been my favorite band for 10 years now. finally got to see them in atlanta last year and finally got the poster and the boot in the mail.the last 2 were halfway decent. im just over the punk rock songs that dont work like comatose, gonna see my friend, etc.. songs like lukin, spin the black circle, those songs work.
it just seems to me that their best work was while they were on epic. i mean most critics said s/t and backspacer were a "return to form" and blah blah...like, ok, youve made your money guys. make something experimental like i dont know the years from 1995-2003. dont bands make better albums when theyre outta their record contracts without input from a label? i just dont get it.
theres some really great songs on s/t and backspacer, just wish the whole album was awesome like the albums from 96-02, all i'm saying.

This^ I just had the same experience and thought the same thing.
