For sure. That's probably why I don't make a whole lot of trades. I'm not willing to lower the asking price to fill a hole.

I felt like the time was right to cut bait on Donaldson. Last year I was trying to get Mookie Betts or Rizzo for him but now I'm willing to take less value to fill a need.

His age, not the same surroundings in the lineup he's had the last couple years, and just a hunch. I'm basically trading one guy who was really good the last couple years but is a good candidate to take a big step backwards for another guy like that, except the one I'm getting fills a need I have and the one I'm trading I already have a better player at that position.
