The Knights of Ren are a for sure thing. As I said, Snoke mentions them by name. Is that pic really of them? I guess that may not be 100% confirmed to be what we're seeing. But The Knights of Ren are a real thing. And it seems likely that the flash is showing us those Knights, especially since they are being led by Kylo Ren. Just makes sense.
Yeah, I don't buy it. Maybe? But I can't see it in any of the other pics out there. And I've never noticed it in the movie itself. I'll have to go back and really look for it.
Im actually exited im watching Jedi and FA back to back...not sure why.
I been months since i feel this exited about SW...these last two years its been weird and hard for me, with all the fuckin toys, books, expanded comics and shit.
Im so happy the new one is going to focus on Luke. I really miss him...its been ages since we got a Luke Skywalker movie and after watching jedi...we all need him...i need to see how that guy is doing, how powerful he become, how fucked up he is.
Already anxious about episode 8. I feel im back guys. I feel it.

Well, there would kinda have to be wouldn't there? Luke was training other people to be Jedi. I don't remember it being mentioned that Kylo Solo killed all the other trainees a la Grandpa Vader.
This is where shit gets tricky and technical, though. Just because one is a Force user does not make them a Jedi. The Jedi are a religious order. There are many steps one must got through, including being fully trained by a certified Jedi, to become a Jedi.
We don't know what Luke was up to for the last 30 years. Maybe he fully trained some students in that time and there are a few/several/many Jedi out there. Or it's possible he never fully trained anyone. Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) as far we know never became a Jedi. So Luke could well be the last true Jedi left.
The more I think about it, the more the title makes sense as singular. Seems to me if it was meant to be plural they would have called it Last of the Jedi or something like that. Calling it The Last Jedi is a blatant reference to Luke Skywalker. The movie is basically called Star Wars: Luke Skywalker.
It'll be interesting to see if Luke successfully trains Rey before he dies. If he dies.
so in this galaxy, online dating profiles would say "force user, but not religious"?

Im home.
I have a feeling we're gonna at least initially see a very screwed up luke. You don't hire rian Johnson to write a happy film but he does write great characters. I miss him too. His development from a new hope to Jedi is something special. So from Jedi to last Jedi there's gonna be an even further leap in who he is and what he's capable of and whether he's at peace with that or not. Especially since in his mind he's failed with his academy.

totally. Im so happy Rian is doing this one...feel really special for someone like him. The reports on ep8 being really weird and fucked are also good.
But last night i got the feeling that we are about to see Luke again. After so long. After his dad die, his academy was torn to pieces...whatever his relationship is with Kylo and Rey...Does he knows about Snoke? Did he face him? Does he talk to Obi Wan? Vader? Yoda?
