I saw QOTSA with Grohl in a tiny ass club in Mpls back then. What a show that was. Good god. Im surprised im still alive.

I'm not a QOTSA fan really but I ended up seeing them twice supporting "Songs For the Dead" -- once opening for Zwan, and later that summer at Lollapalooza. Both sets were really good; the album disappointed me when I checked it out later, though maybe I'd feel differently now. Lanegan was with them both times, I think.

There's a rumour going around that a new QOTSA album could drop in August. It's all based on a picture of what is supposedly Homme's 9 string guitar.
