My wife's friend is cooking a bunch of food and she's a terrible cook and the food looks really gross and I don't want to eat it but I don't know how not to without hurting feelings or looking like a dick

I've had the garlic crispy duck before and it's really good. I did get duck with the siam spicy.

And no, I've never been there.
