I wanna say yes? I don't think its unheard of to release one well before the album and then another just before.

Im still curious about the lack of track list and long time between first single and album release, maybe they had the one song done but still not sure what else to have on the album

Seems really odd that they released this 3 months before the album. Were they trying to circumvent leaks of the song so they can at least make some coin on the single & pre-sale of the album?

Possibly. They did such a good job keeping the single locked until this point, I'm not even looking forward to a leak and that makes me sad.
