I just hope we get another track between now and the album.
I've not been this excited to hear the rest for a really long time. The curiosity might just kill this cat.

Its so long till the album is released that you would think they could, but do bands very often release 2 singles before the album is out?

I wanna say yes? I don't think its unheard of to release one well before the album and then another just before.

Anyone who knows the length of time to get an album into stores after its finalized, could they still be working on songs and have time to get it all done? Im still curious about the lack of track list and long time between first single and album release, maybe they had the one song done but still not sure what else to have on the album

I say we get a group together to break in and steal this album.

Seems really odd that they released this 3 months before the album. Were they trying to circumvent leaks of the song so they can at least make some coin on the single & pre-sale of the album?

I'm thinking this is definitely something PJ would approve of and endorse. AMONGST THE SWAMPS.

Possibly. They did such a good job keeping the single locked until this point, I'm not even looking forward to a leak and that makes me sad.

I was curious this was the best i could come up with:

Got Some (Conan) - June 1st

Tracklist/Pre Order - July 15th

The Fixer- July 20th

Speed of sound Demo - July 29th

Supersonic - Late August when the Fixer vinyl was received?

Backspacer - Sept 20th

And we had Live Unthought Known Ed solo and i believe The End

to me these are the main influences at work here.

i understand why everyone is defaulting to "it's punky PJ" but i think that's missing the mark.

also, papa roach is still around?

I love the phrasing in "Riiii iiiiight around the corner..."

Holding that syllable in "Right" provides for a bouncy "around the corner" that chugs along in fun little way.

I think if Ed could growl like the old days this song would be looked at very differently .
