I live on the 10th floor of an old converted hospital. We've got a tall living room window that looks out at Manhattan. Reading that book and looking up at that window... FUCK. Every time I looked over I was certain I'd see some bald fucking terrifying man hovering outside. It was a nightmare.

I finished the book the Dead Zone yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I don't remember the movie though I'm pretty sure I've seen it mostly because I got a flash from a scene in the movie towards the end of the book. I used to watch the TV show though that's mostly a blank too but I found myself picturing Anthony Micheal Hall as I read. I can't imagine Christopher Walken though I understand the movie was well revived. I'm not sure I've ever liked a King character more than John Smith. His dad, Sarah, his doctor...I was really fond of them all. Kinda sad it's over.
