I'm currently enjoying the fever dream that last Jedi is in the can and they might just surprise everyone and release it in may.

Good point. For all the Oscars Lord of the rings was nominated for and won, performance by an actor wasn't one of them.

Can't see that changing for Star Wars.
Heath Ledger got an Oscar for The Joker though.
Only because he died.
Disagree.

It won't. There is a zero percent chance. Star Wars owns Christmas right now. It's gonna make so much stupid money. Besides, the longer they wait to release, the better the VFX will be. They can hone and refine for months and months and months.

I know. I don't want anything worth seeing to come out this summer (other than Guardians Vol. 2).

'Thanks so much for sending the "Vader & Son" book. Love it, but not as much as I LOVE Ireland- one of the greatest countries I've ever had the pleasure of visiting! Can't wait to visit my ancestral home once again. All the best to you Dave, mh'

Pains me to say it but this is a pretty awesome and 100% accurate crash course on what we know definitely about luke in the time between Jedi and force awakens. It's only a few minutes and they've really done their homework with the scant few details that are fact and canon.
