I want to love HWIC but I'm just not quite there.

It was love at first listen for me. It's right up my alley. The way Ed sings, to the guitar and drum play, to the background layers (I love me some sleigh bells!), it's all just so perfect. I think the thing the Beach Boys use in Good Vibrations is in there towards the end too. Everything about it is so good.

Yea, love at first listen for me too. I have a playlist I love that re-imagines PJ as a weird garage band. I usually just throw it on shuffle.

I love both those songs, but they're too tightly wound to be the work of a sloppy garage band, IMO.
